Our reviewers initially impressed with the sharpness and vivid color produced by this mid-sized set thanks to the system’s 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and Samsung’s mid-level Wide Color Enhancer 2 technology that helps produce more natural rendering of colors. This set incorporates a number of innovative features to reduce the motion blur and image judder, which traditionally plague LCD HDTVs when displaying fast movement. We noticed no blurring or ghosting during action sequences, sports, or gaming. This B460 series HDTV combines a super fast 6ms (millisecond) response time that helps produce crystal clear images.

The last feature of Medi@2.0 provides owners a USB 2.0 multi-media center that allows the TV to be connected to a thumb drive or a digital camera quickly and easily. Those wishing to utilize the Medi@2.0 system will need to have Internet access and Ethernet connection or wireless LAN required as well as Samsung’s Lipstick devise (unfortunately, it is sold separately from the television).
