Our latest LCD Review: Samsung LN22B360 LCD HDTV This 22 inch LCD television is an excellent television for the bedroom or den and produces sharp and clear pictures in solid 720p HD resolution. We were most impressed with the sharpness and vivid color produced by this smaller set thanks to the system’s 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and Samsung’s mid-level Wide Color Enhancer 2 technology that helps produce more natural rendering of colors. This set incorporates a number of innovative features to reduce the motion blur and image judder, which traditionally plague LCD HDTVs when displaying fast movement. We only saw on a couple of occasions where the set blurred some fast-action sequences, and for its size and intended use as a secondary television, it should not be an issue. The set has a great 8ms (millisecond) response time that helps produce crystal clear images and to reduce blurring.

The Samsung LN22B360 produces rich sounds thanks to its SRS TruSurround HD technology. The two on board stereo speakers produce clear sounds, solid bass, and crisp dialogue suitable for regular viewing situations. Consumers interested in hooking up the LN22B360 to an independent surround sound system have a number of available audio outlets, but we felt the television performed well without external amplification.

The Samsung LN22B360 provides great connectivity and networking with a number of component connections including a single HDMI 1.3 port. The HDTV is wrapped in a sleek piano black bezel design that completes the panel’s cutting edge design. And as with all B360 series televisions, this LCD is Energy Star 3.0 compliant, which helps you be green and provides up to 25% more energy savings than last year’s model.

Consumer reviews on this well constructed LCD have been very positive. Most viewers are amazed at the realistic video quality as well as the flat panel’s durability and design. If you are looking for a solid 22 inch display, the Samsung LN22B360 is an excellent choice. Retailing at $340, we’ve found it at Amazon for just under $270. In light of the number of features Samsung has built into this television, consumers will be hard pressed to find a better 22 inch LCD on the market today.
