ViewSonic VT2430 Review – 24-Inch LCD HDTV

Up for Review: ViewSonic VT2430 LCD HDTV. ViewSonic is better known for its LCD Monitors than television sets. However, following our review of the VT2430, we could not be more impressed with its dual TV/monitor capabilities. With a 24 inch viewable screen, it is a great size for smaller spaces like second bedrooms, kitchens or dorm rooms. Its native 1920×1080 pixel resolution is capable of reproducing full HD programming. This TV also does a great job of handling other non-native signals from 720p to standard definition 480p signals. If you are looking at this 24 inch set for its display capabilities you will not be disappointed.
ViewSonic VT2430
The PC image generated with the ViewSonic VT2430 is extremely great. We’ve tested the set as a monitor with the resolution set at 1920×1080 and it was perfect match with our PC. We tried eight other resolution settings that work just as well – just lower resolution results. Regardless of the resolution sent from the PC, the VT2430 automatically adjusts for the best picture with each setting.
The ViewSonic VT2430 also produces ample amounts of clear and clean volume that will fill the room. It’s equipped with a good number of input/output slots (including a single HDMI port), so hook up to any devise is not a problem. This TV also handily exceeds Energy Star 3.0 compliance standards and creates substantial savings when its turned on or when it’s in standby mode. It normally retails for about $400, but we have seen it online for around $260. This television/monitor is equipped with great features at a great price, you can purchase this flat panel LCD with confidence.
