Our reviewers liked the fact that the sleek flat panel display produced sharp images in standard definition 480p as well as higher definition resolution 720p, 1080i, and 1080p programming. From Blu-ray players to HD cable and satellite broadcasts, this television produces solid HD images. Color contrast was decent with a ratio of 1,000:1, however it did cause grayer black levels. Image brightness was surprisingly great thanks to the flat panel’s luminescence of 300 cd/m2. Overall video quality was solid and was about what our reviewers expected for an entry level HD flat panel. Viewers will be pleased with the HD experience the LC26VF59 provides.

Our reviewers appreciated the Viore LC26VF59 for its easy initial set and quick start guide. The remote control is easy to navigate and use as well. Adjustments to brightness, color, and contrast were very easy to make and allows consumers to easily fine tune image quality. Our reviewers were surprisingly satisfied with the LC26VF59‘s sound quality. The two on board, behind the screen speakers provide generous amounts and quality sound for regular viewing situations. The Viore LCD is manufactured to provide a 170 degree viewing radius. There was a slight loss in picture quality and increased shadowing when viewing the set from a shallow angle (greater than 65 degrees off center in either direction).

Viore provides owners of the LC26VF59 with two HDMI ports and a number of other video inputs so the LCD can be connected to any number HD devices. The television also provides a VGA slot for the LCD’s use as a computer monitor. Our reviewers were impressed with the Viore’s overall image quality when the flat panel is utilized as a monitor.

The Viore LC26VF59 is a great set for consumers looking for a low cost television. This is a straight and simple HD television without a lot of extra features. However, Viore has done a great job providing consumers excellent audio and HD video features. For the price, this great mid sized HDTV is worth the investment.
