Viore PDP42V18HA Review – 42-inch Plasma HDTV

Up for Review:Viore PDP42V18HA 42-inch Plasma TV. We take a look at Viore’s HD 1080i Plasma screen television and are impressed with the quality provided for the money. Our reviewers liked the fact that the sleek flat panel display produced sharp images in standard definition 480p as well as higher definition resolution in both 720p and 1080i programming. Regardless of the input we selected from Blu-ray players to HD cable and satellite broadcasts, this television produces solid HD images. Color contrast was great thanks to a strong ratio of 10,000:1, however there was some slight graying in black levels which made some darker film and TV scenes somewhat difficult to see clearly. Image brightness was superb thanks to the flat panel’s luminescence of 1,200 cd/m2. The video quality was solid and was about what our reviewers expected for an entry level plasma screen flat panel. Viewers will be pleased with the overall HD experience with the PDP42V18HA.

Viore PDP42V18HA
Like the other Viore televisions we have reviewed, we have been impressed with the HDTV’s sound quality. The two on board, behind the screen speakers provide generous amounts and quality sound for regular viewing situations.
Viore provides owners of the PDP42V18HA with a single HDMI port and a number of other video inputs so the plasma set can be connected to any number HD devices. To serve as a true multi-media ready television, we agreed that this plasma set needed additional HD ready input and output slots.
Our reviewers agreed that the Viore PDP42V18HA is a great set for consumers looking for a low cost plasma television that provides a decent quality picture.

I have one of these and can’t figure out how to get my screen to full size. I have a band of black all around the outside of the screen about 3/4 of an inch wide. Any body know what the solution is?
